Emmy Link is the fightin' spirit behind Sneaki Bandit, a folk-punk project that has roots in Boulder, Colorado and Richmond, Virginia and is now based in Brooklyn, New York. She is a songwriter, poet, and artist – ardently influenced by music of the alt country/blues/folk/roots genres, including artists such as Odetta, Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, Karen Dalton, Margo Price, and Sierra Ferrell. 

As an alumna of University of Colorado in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado, Link's research in Environmental Studies was the impetus behind launching Sneaki Bandit. However, the music gets its raw and daring edge from anywhere but within the four walls of a classroom.
